$30-Provide food for a month
The orphan sponsorship program will identify and enroll orphaned children living in difficult circumstances. Each sponsored child will receive a tailored package of support encompassing:
Education:
Providing all educational expenses – admission fees, books, uniforms, transportation etc. to enable orphans to attend schools/vocational centers. Support for tutoring and specialized education needs.
Healthcare:
Facilitating access to preventive and curative healthcare services, regular health check-ups, medicines, and hospitalization coverage for the sponsored orphans.
Nutrition:
Ensuring food security for sponsored children through regular dry ration supplies, fresh food vouchers, and supplementary nutrition based on needs assessments.
Psychosocial:
Regular counseling sessions, life skills training, extracurricular activities, and caregiver support to address orphans’ trauma and psychosocial well-being.
Monitoring & Mentoring:
Field staff will regularly visit sponsored orphans’ homes/facilities to monitor their progress and needs and provide mentorship support.
Community Integration:
Facilitating sponsored orphans’ participation in community events, group activities, and avenues for social integration within their areas.
The program will maintain thorough family/background tracing of each orphan to determine context-specific needs. Customized support packages will be developed with clear goals. All interventions will focus on keeping orphans within a family/community setting as much as possible. Special attention will be given to orphans with disabilities or special needs.
