This Ramadan, Bring Hope to Afghanistan.
Amidst the displacement, poverty, and hardship, countless families in Afghanistan face daily struggles to survive, let alone fast. This Ramadan, let us ease their burden by providing much-needed support and making this holy month a time of relief and blessings for them.
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said,
“Whosoever feeds a fasting person in order to break the fast at Iftar, for him there will be forgiveness of his sins and emancipation from the fire of hell and he will receive the reward equal to the fasting person, without that person’s reward being diminished in the least.”
(Ibn Khuzaymah)
Your support to Afghan Relief allows you to embody the profound teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). By feeding a fasting person, you not only help provide essential meals to vulnerable families in Afghanistan but also share in their reward as they fast with dignity.
Why Feed The Fasting in Afghanistan?
Afghanistan faces one of the world’s most severe humanitarian crises. In 2025, over 22.9 million Afghans, more than half the population, are expected to require lifesaving humanitarian assistance, including 12.6 million experiencing crisis or emergency levels of acute food insecurity.
The country is also witnessing the sharpest surge in malnutrition ever recorded, with over 3.5 million children under five expected to be malnourished this year, alongside 1.2 million malnourished pregnant and breastfeeding mothers urgently needing treatment.
Ramadan, traditionally a season of generosity and compassion, has instead been overshadowed by hunger and poverty. Many families go without sufficient food to break their fasts at Iftar or prepare Suhoor meals before dawn. Your support can be a vital lifeline during this sacred month.
Our Commitment to Fasting Families
Afghan Relief is dedicated to supporting families throughout Afghanistan who are facing extreme hardship. With your help, we are providing nutritious food parcels designed to sustain fasting families, allowing them to observe Ramadan without the burden of hunger. Each parcel is filled with nourishing ingredients to prepare traditional Iftar and Suhoor meals.
