Shield Nangarhar From Floods
Help protect 200–250 families in Haska Mina, Nangarhar, by building a vital retaining wall to safeguard homes, farmland, and livestock from future floods.
The Threat: One Flood Away From Disaster
In the villages of Sharmakhi and Lala (De Bala, Haska Mina), around 250 families live along a high-risk riverbed.
Last year, powerful flash floods tore through the area; destroying homes, stripping farmland, and washing away livestock. Today, eroded riverbanks leave these families completely exposed. Without a protective barrier, the next flood season threatens to destroy everything they have left.
“Every year, floods put people, animals, homes, and farmland at serious risk. We urgently need a protective wall.”
— Local Resident, Haska Mina
The Solution: A Community Built Retaining Wall
The residents of Haska Mina don’t need temporary aid. They need lasting protection. A protective retaining wall will hold back floodwaters before they reach homes and crops.
- Safe Homes: Protect 200+ family residences built along the bank.
- Secured Farmland: Save crops, fields, and agricultural livelihoods.
- Protected Livestock: Keep essential animals safe from rushing waters.
- Sustainable Impact: A community-identified project built to endure for years.

Giving That Lasts
A retaining wall is a classic Sadaqah Jariyah; a recurring charity that will protect hundreds of lives and livelihoods season after season, giving you continuous rewards for years to come.
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
“Every year, floods put people, animals, homes, and farmland at serious risk. We urgently need a protective wall.”
— Sahih Muslim 1631
